Hi!!

I'm Penny Mitchum, owner & operator of The Fitting Room. We opened the doors in Calhoun, Ga on Wednesday, May 17th 2007. It seems like a lifetime ago & yesterday all at the same time. Eighteen years later, I still handpick every single item with thought & attention to detail. I'm very tactile so I tend to be drawn to soft wearable pieces with interesting cuts or enhancements - pieces that you'll LOVE & find yourself wearing for years.

My original goal in the store was to provide an upscale shopping experience in a fun, unintimidating environment. With the help of my friends, I believe we've been able to make this a reality. I hope you always feel welcome when you visit!!!! My goal with this online store is a small extension of that. You won't find the full store here, but you will find a few fun pieces that feel manageable to me. Please stick with me as I navigate this new-to-me path.
